Security Awareness

Provide a baseline of security concepts for your employees and get everyone in the business educated, informed, and involved in practices that improve the protection of your business information assets.

The need for security awareness has been identified – and establishing a knowledge baseline to assist your employees in becoming security aware is a challenge that we can help overcome. Our training helps establish a security awareness posture in the work culture.

Privacy Awareness

Privacy Awareness training educates employees about their obligations in handling customer’s personal identifiable information (PII) in the context of existing legislation in Canada.  In Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Digital Privacy Act (update to PIPEDA) apply.

We also can address other global jurisdictions beyond Canada such as the various privacy regulations in the United States of America and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)

Businesses that provide goods and/or services that process payments for themselves, or on behalf of a business, are directly impacted by the PCI-DSS agreement.

PCI-DSS training provides your employees with the knowledge they need to handle customer credit card information as laid out by the Payment Industry Council.

It needs to be recognized that training is mandatory part of compliance with the PCI-DSS. If an audit identifies non-compliance in training, one of the outcomes may be your ability to process payments being revoked.
